<p>PURPOSE:To permit resin to be purged from a molding machine efficiently and effectively in a short period of time by a method wherein a mixture of aromatic polyester resin and a compound containing water of crystallization is mixed in a specified ratio to extrude the resin upon purging the thermoplastic resin from the molding machine. CONSTITUTION:0.3-10pts.wt. parts of a compound containing water of crystallization is mixed with 100pts.wt. of aromatic polyester resin pellets by a mixer such as Henschel mixer or the like. When old resin is purged with this mixture, troubles such that the old resin, adhered to the inside of a cylinder, is mixed into the resin to be molded next time of a long period of time is necessitated for the purge of the old resin can be eliminated.</p> |
