PURPOSE:To extend the long service life of a power supply by interrupting a power supply in the inside of a communication terminal station when a timing of communication start exceeds a prescribed time or over so as to apply a power supply just before the timing of communication start thereby reducing useless power in the communication wait state according to the procedure. CONSTITUTION:An information signal from a network control station and a coast earth station is received by an antenna 11, demodulated by a receiver 13 and decoded. A central processing unit 14 sends required data in a received information signal to a display device 21. When the timing of communication start elapses by a prescribed time or over based on an identification number received from a central control station side, an internal power supply 18 of a communication terminal station (mobile station) 1 is interrupted, the power supply 18 is applied just before the timing of communication start to make information communication with the central control station. |
