PURPOSE:To provide a document editor capable of analyzing a sentense and specifying/switching a syntax unit such as a word, a clause and a phrase only by one input. CONSTITUTION:An internal expression preparing means 3 prepares an internal expression storing corresponding relation between respective parts of an identified word string obtained by an analytical means 2 for executing the sentence analysis of an electronized character string by means of a dictionary 1 and outputting an identified word string and the corresponding positions of the electronized character string and stores the internal expression in an internal expression storing means 4. A character string monitoring means 7 collates a character string stored in a character string buffer 5 for sequentially storing updating data for inputting/deleting the electronized character string while storing the positional information of the electronized character string with the contents stored in a function word heading storing means 6 and segments an analytical unit, a character string buffer updating means 8 updates the contents of the buffer 5 basing upon the obtained analytical result and an internal expression updating means 9 updates the contents of the means 4. |
