PURPOSE:To obtain the speaker equipment forming a sound field without a sense of incongruity by using left and right speaker equipments to reproduce an audio signal in a middle channel so as to select the same configuration for the speakers at the left/right/middle channels thereby preventing a change in sound quality and in a sound image for the left/right/middle channels. CONSTITUTION:Tweeters 10R, 10L and woofers 6R, 6L for a middle channel mounted on speaker equipments L, R reproduce an audio signal of the middle channel. Thus, the speakers are set to have the same configuration for the left/right/middle channels in an audio system 1 and make the sound quality equal to each other and a sound field without a sense of incongruity is formed by adjusting the sound volume. Furthermore, the speaker equipments R, L placed to the left and right with a display device 4 inbetween reproduce the audio signal of the middle channel and prevent in advance the displacement in the height and direction of the sound image even when the sound image is moved to the left/right. |
