PURPOSE:To provide the copying machine where transferring of unnecessary data is not carried out. CONSTITUTION:In a system where at least one of optional equipments 60 and 70 is connected to a copying machine main body 40, it is constituted so that the information indicating weather the copying machine main body 40 is started in a normal action mode or in another mode when the power is turned ON is fed to the optional equipment 60 or 70 from the copying machine main body 40 first, and then, the definition of the communication data transferred from the copying machine main body 40 to the optional equipment 60 or 70 is made different according to the mode. |
