PURPOSE:To make it possible to enlarge the capacitance of an electric double layer capacitor and to increase its discharging/charging speed. CONSTITUTION:A conductive polymer film 3 formed on the surface of a polymerization electrode 2 used for obtaining conductive polymer by electrolytic polymerization is, as it is, considered as a polarizable electrode. An electrolyte is impregnated into said polarizable electrode, and an electric double layer capacitor is formed by intervening separators 5. The film of this conductive polymer is turned into a microporous form by bridging during electrolytic polymerization with polyvalent anion as dopant. |
