<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording and reproducing device, the mechanism of which is simplified by making it to a nonexchangeable tape system, and in which a magnetic tape traveling course between tape reels is made shortest. CONSTITUTION:The 1st tape reel 26 and 2nd tape reel 27 are coaxially provided in a case 1, and either one of the tape reels 26 or 27 housed in the case 1 is driven by a motor M. Between the 1st tape reel 26 and 2nd tape reel 27, the magnetic tape T is obliquely traveled while being guided by guide pins 5a and 5b, and the magnetic head H is also obliquely arranged conforming to the tape traveling direction. The magnetic tape is traveled in the direction alphaor beta by means of that either tape reel 26 or 27 is driven, then the recording or reproducing operation for the magnetic tape T is performed by this magnetic head H.</p> |
