<p>PURPOSE:To reduce interference with a tape pulling member inserted in the mouth part of a tape cassette and a reel driving mechanism arranged in a tape cassette loading area. CONSTITUTION:This detector is provided with two light emitting parts 27b arranged at a position near the both ends of the mouth part 4 of the tape cassette to which the tape pulling member 22 is inserted when the tape cassette 1 is loaded and light receiving parts 33 for respectively receiving light from the light emitting parts through transmission light holes 8 and 9 formed on the tape cassette. Thus, since there is no member positioned at the center part of the mouth part, room is provided relating to the arrangement and the movement of the other members.</p> |
