PURPOSE:To provide the electric insulating composition which is used for the connections of electric wires and cables in a form of an insulator for electrical wires or in a tape shape, and is free from blooming. CONSTITUTION:Antioxidant is added to polyethylene with the extremely low density of 0.88 to O.91g/cm<3>, and is kneaded so as to be formed into condensed antioxidant. Mixing is then carried out in such a way that the aforesaid antioxidant will be 0.03 to 0.3 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts polyethylene by weight, and the polyethylene with the extremely low density will be 5 to 30 parts by weight in the same manner. The production of the condensed antioxidant mixed with antioxidant in advance permits the composition to be produced, which is excellent in antioxidant action and electric characteristics, and is free from blooming. |
