FIELD: food industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method relates to manufacturing recovered tobacco material. The method involves extraction of natural tobacco material by water extraction solvent to produce extraction solution containing natural tobacco material components and extraction residue. The extraction solution is subject to adsorptive fractionation using adsorbent to reduce nitrosamine quantity. Recovered tobacco material is prepared with using extraction residue. At least part of extraction solution with reduced nitrosamine quantity is introduced to the recovered tobacco material. High hydrophobic adsorbent is used as adsorbent.
