A device for metal and slag separation contains lined capping with gas conducting channel, directed to the tap hole and steel discharging channel with inlet and outlet orifices. A lined capping is equipped with the first collector, connected by the gas conducting channel with the source of gas. A collector is equipped at least with one nozzle. The lined capping contains a porous insert and second collector, which is connected through the pipe line to the source of gas. A diameter of the outlet orifice of steel discharging channel is more than the diameter of its inlet orifice. An angle between the axle of nozzle and axle of steel discharging channel is determined from the ratiowhere- is an angle between the axle of nozzle and axle of steel discharging channel.
