A method for presowing tilling in the area of rows includes the beginning of works when the mean daily temperature of the soil at a depth of 8- reaches +5-6 °С, carrying out tilling simultaneously with seed sowing. Duration of works at one field is 1-2 consecutive days; the depth of soil ripping for the depth of seed covering (2.5...4.0)±; in the cultivated upper soil layer the content of clods with size of above not exceeding 10% by the mass; cutting of weeds is at least 98%. Ripping the upper soil layer is carried out during seed sowing in the area of rows only (without ripping thereof in the area of row spacings) by needle rotary working elements, arranged in series, flat hoes and rollers. The width of a strip of the upper soil layer in the row area being ripped and crushed by the needle working element and by roller makes 0.2-0.3 of row spacings, that is by 1.5 times larger than the width of the strip ripped by the flat hoe, and the depth of soil ripping by the needle working element in the row area is determined depending on the preset optimum depth of seed covering and the depth of ripping soil by flat hoe. |
