A random valve generator (6) connected to a control unit (8) e.g. digital signal processor, via an analog to digital converter. The generator generates random values and transmits the values to the control unit for probabilistic simulation. The device receives the data and algorithm to execute the simulation program and transmits the result of the simulation.
