#CMT# #/CMT# The ventilator has a cylindrical inner body engaged in a cylindrical outer body, where the bodies are made of rigid synthetic material. A closing shutter (8) closes an air discharging pipe, and is pivotally mounted in the bodies. The shutter has trunnions (11) made of rigid synthetic material and engaged in corresponding holes of the inner body. Each trunnion has two opened cavities in its peripheral surface, where each cavity includes a flexible cylindrical part (20) that is lightly and radially projected with respect to the peripheral surface. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a ventilator. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Ventilator for a motor vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The trunnions are made of rigid synthetic material, so that the trunnions perfectly resist against wear resulting from multiple pivotment cycles of the shutter.
