PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the storage mode of emails with attached files. SOLUTION: A header 90, a body 92, a first attached file 94 and a second attached file 96 are extracted from a file-attached email 80. A file format conversion part 70 then converts the file format of the header 90 and body 92 into the same file format as the first attached file 94. A file synthesis part 72 combines the first attached file 94, header 98 and body 100 in this order to generate an electronic file 110 in the same file format as the first attached file 94.
