Suspension components are adjusted when transverse acceleration arises, such that roll torque distribution or support, is matched with road friction. When the road friction decreases, should transverse acceleration arise, the roll torque distribution is shifted from a rear- to a front axis. Component(s) adjusted include stabilizers, springs, and/or dampers. Road friction is assessed using a rain sensor and/or a system determining slippage between driven and/or non-driven wheels of the vehicle.
|
