<p>It is intended to improve the adhesiveness of an absorbent article (1) to the area between legs. An absorbent article (1) to be put on the human body which comprises: the main body (10) consisting of the longitudinal direction and the width direction and the thickness direction being at right angles thereto; and an absorber (20) which is to be superimposed on the face in the human body side of the above-described main body (10) in the thickness direction and has a liquid-absorbing material (22) capable of absorbing a liquid; wherein the above-described absorber (20) has a part bonded to the above-described main body (10) and another part not bonded thereto concerning the longitudinal direction as described above. In this absorbent article (1), the above-described main body (10) is provided with a rigid element (15) which extends at least from the boundary (10r) between the above-described bonded part and the above-described non-bonded part toward the non-bonded part side concerning the longitudinal direction as described above to thereby elevate the rigidity of the above-described main body (10).</p>
