#CMT# #/CMT# Fabrication of a sintered silicon dioxide component comprises: (a) casting of a barbotine, with a base of amorphous silicon dioxide powder and a liquid, between the internal (14) and external (12) parts of a mould (10) in a manner to delimit one wall of the component; (b) evacuation, at least partially, of the liquid; (c) removal from the mold to obtain a raw component; (d) complementary drying of the raw component; (e) sintering of the raw component. During the second stage, in at least one zone delimiting a useful part of the wall, the solvent is evacuated through a single part of the internal and external parts of the mould, through a porous surface. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are also included for: (i) a mold for the fabrication of the raw component; (ii) the raw component fabricated by this method; (iii) the sintered silicon dioxide component. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The sintered silicon dioxide component is used in the form of a crucible for the fabrication of polycrystalline ingots (claimed) for the semiconductor industry or for the production of wafers, destined for the photovoltaic cells that make up solar panels. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# Allows the fabrication of a sintered silicon dioxide component in a simple manner, able to produce components with large dimensions typically greater than 500 mm, of any shape, possibly with very thin walls typically of less than 20 mm, a low porosity, an elevated raw density typically greater than 1.9 g/cm 3> and that preserves the purity of the powders used in the barbotine. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing is a transverse cross-section of a mold. 10 : Mold 12 : External part of mold 14 : Internal part of mold 16 : Mold volume defining component 22 : Internal porous surface of outer mold part 26 : Upper opening for barbotine 30 : Jacket of inner mold part 31 : Jacket support 32 : Impermeable outer surface in contact with barbotine 34 : Air injection holes. |
