The invention achieves the aim of increasing the operational reliability of the machine and reducing the cleaning effort, in that, in the operating posi tion of the automated fryer (11), the outlet opening of the storage containe r (13) is located below the loading opening (73) of the cooking drum (17), a nd that the transport means (15) is designed to comprise a drive (52, 61) in order to transport the food upward from the outlet opening (38) of the stor age container (13) to the loading opening (73) of the cooking drum (17). |
