<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation support device outputting a proper operation support corresponding to each operation target in proper timing even in an environment wherein a large number of operation targets are present. <P>SOLUTION: This operation support device 100 has: an operation target detection means 12 detecting the operation target operated by an operator; a mode switching means 15 for switching a dialog mode permitting output of operation support information related to the operation target according to the detection of the operation target by the operation target detection means 12 and a standby mode forbidding the output of the operation support information; and a decision means 14 deciding presence/absence of hesitation of the operator.
