摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure in which the leakage of magnetic flux hardly occurs from a pilot clutch while using steel for increasing the hardness of a clutch housing. <P>SOLUTION: The electromagnetic clutch device 3 is equipped with the clutch housing 7 and a differential case 9 that are relatively rotatable and disposed on its outside and inside, a multiple disc main clutch 11 interposed between the clutch housing 7 and the differential case 9 for transmitting torque between the clutch housing 7 and the differential case 9, and the pilot clutch 19 for causing the fastening of the main clutch 11. The electromagnetic clutch 3 is of an open type in which lubricating oil is distributed through the inside and outside of the clutch housing 7.
