WEATHERSTRIP FOR AUTOMOBILE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent noise and to improve sealability in a weatherstrip for an automobile installed in a flange part of the opening peripheral edge of a car body such as a door, a trunk and a back door of the automobile.

SOLUTION: A hollow seal part 2 composed of thermoplastic elastomer and a cross-sectional substantially U-shaped core material 3 composed of a hard synthetic resin are integrally molded. A seal pad part 4 composed of the thermoplastic elastomer is integrally formed on a cross-sectional substantially U-shaped inner bottom surface of the cover material. A large number of projection parts 5 are integrally molded on a surface of the seal pad part.
