PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concurrently spin sound familiar for a user when playing back soundless contents.

SOLUTION: A display/sound output section 13 performs slide show display of photographs on a display 6. A communication section 14 transmits to a server 2 program specification information (broadcast related information, schedule information) input via an electronic program guide, thereby requesting transmission of music data from the server 2. At the server 2, a table reference section 23 retrieves from a table 24 music data related to the program specification information transmitted from the communication section 14. A communication section 21 transmits to a terminal device 1 the music data retrieved by the table reference section 23. The display/sound output section 13 sounds sound represented by the music data transmitted from the server 2 through a speaker of the display 6 during the slide show of the photographs.
