<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal with a relatively small-capacity storage part, capable of appropriately accessing a server storing contents as needed without troubling a user even when moving outdoors to successively acquire necessary contents, and reproducing a plurality of contents without interruption as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The portable terminal 10 receives a content identification information list from content servers 20 and 40 by a predetermined trigger, and stores it in a storage part. The terminal thereafter starts reproduction of contents according to the content identification information list in response to a user's instruction. When all contents to be reproduced are not stored in the storage part after starting the reproduction, adjacent base stations 50 and 80 are automatically detected, and access to the content servers is performed from the base stations to acquire the contents according to the space capacity of the storage part.
