<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing marine alga pickle using marine alga as the main raw material and easily utilizing a pickle seasoning liquid. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the marine alga pickle comprises charging caught gulfweed 1 in a raw condition into an iron pot in which seawater is boiled, boiling the gulfweed until its color becomes from blackish brown to fresh green, blanching the product followed by washing in fresh water to remove harshness, removing water to some extent after washing, and sun drying the product. Furthermore, the method comprises transferring the gulfweed thus treated to a pickle bucket 2, adding to the product, a pickle seasoning liquid 3 which is made by mixing brewed soy sauce, brewed vinegar, apple vinegar, sweetener, and capsicum with a base of marine alga salt, putting a cover 4 and a weight stone 5 on the product followed by dehydrating and maturing the product for a whole day and night, taking out the gulfweed from the bucket, lightly squeezing water from the product, and cutting the product so as to eat, in an equal size allowing to easily eat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
