PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain correction made when an image is output, from the image. SOLUTION: Prior to output of an image, image data are corrected and a code image wherein correction contents are described is generated. Then the image is output based upon the corrected image data and the code image is also output. Consequently, it is possible to recognize how the image is corrected by analyzing the code image. Further, the correction contents are output in the form of the code image, so that the correction contents need not be stored separately, and data management does not become complicated. In addition, the output image is confirmed and then the code image is selected, so that target correction contents can easily be selected. Consequently, it is easy to output exactly the same image by making the same corrections of source image data or to apply correction contents to another image data for correction into an image of the same quality.
