PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a source voltage drop protective circuit by enabling the break and permission of the output of a normal gate driver even when there is a sharp rise of source voltage. SOLUTION: The circuit includes a reference voltage circuit 2 from which reference voltage 17 is output, a monitor voltage circuit 3 from which monitor voltage 16 is output, and a comparator into which the reference voltage 17 and the monitor voltage 16 are input and which outputs H/L signals, according to the comparison results of the magnitude of the reference voltage 17 and the monitor voltage 16. It is arranged so that the time constant of the monitor voltage circuit 3 which determines the ascension rate of the monitor voltage 16 may be larger than the time constant of the reference voltage circuit 2 which determines the ascension rate of the reference voltage 17.
