PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent needless processing by preventing failure of recording about the other disk of the same kind as the disk in which a recording error is caused. SOLUTION: A controller 11 obtains recording parameters for recording normally for an optical disk 1 in which recording of data is failed, and registers the recording parameters in a memory 13 with ID of the optical disk. When data is recorded newly in the optical disk and a kind of the optical disk coincides with a kind registered in the memory 13, the registered recording parameters are read out and set.
