PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which suppresses a flicker of a displayed figure and characters, and a microscope device having the same. SOLUTION: A display device 40 has a display means 49 of forming a display frame by displaying scan lines transferred in order as to information regarding at least one of states of an operation unit for operating the device and the device, a control means 42 of performing display control over the display means, memories 43 and 44 which store display data of the information from the control means to the display means, and a signal generating means 55 of sending out a signal for displaying display data in the memories on the display means as scan lines transferred in order to display a next frame after a final scan line forming a frame being displayed is displayed.
