PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image suitable to diagnose mamma in an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus 10 for generating image data in a C mode image of an examination part on the basis of volume data generated by performing ultrasonic scanning of a subject has: a volume data generation part 41 for generating the volume data; a curved C mode surface generation part 42 for generating a curved C mode surface formed by a curved surface curving without including a non-image part on the basis of the volume data generated by the volume data generation part 41; a curved C mode image generation part 43 for generating image data in the curved C mode image on the basis of data about the curved C mode surface generated by the curved C mode surface generation part 42.
