PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrosilylation inhibitor exhibiting inhibitory activity for catalytic activity of a hydrosilylation catalyst substantially in the absence of oxygen and water vapor with an oxygen and water vapor content of about≤100 ppm and a curable composition which is not cured in the absence of oxygen and water vapor (moisture) as such and cured in the presence of oxygen and/or water vapor (moisture) to give a cured product such as gel and an elastomer. SOLUTION: The hydrosilylation inhibitor comprises a reaction product of (1) a titanium compound having an alkoxy group in its ligand, and (2) an organosilicon compound having at least one hydrogen atom bonded to silicon atom per molecule.
