PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent striking noise at the time of start while avoiding an increase of the number of part without changing the constitution more than that of a conventional vehicle in a vehicle, which comprises a gear transmission including a gear train of a plurality of operation transmission stages capable of changing establishment state depending on an operation element by a vehicle operator, and a starting clutch changing release/engagement of power transmission between an engine and the gear transmission, expected to connect the starting clutch gradually after establishing either of gear train among the gear train of the plurality of transmission stages in such a state that the power transmission between the engine and the gear train is cut at the time of vehicle start. SOLUTION: When the operation element selects neutral position, a starting clutch 14 is processed in a power blockade state, and either of the gear train among the gear train of the plurality of transmission stages is made to be established.
