PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber end face protection structure in which an end face protection member can be attached and detached by collectively protecting the end faces of a plurality of optical fibers. SOLUTION: The optical fiber end face protection structure 1 includes: the plurality of the optical fibers 2 for emitting incident light from an optical emission end; a translucent optical member 3 for emitting to enter light emitted from the optical emission end 21 of the plurality of the optical fibers 2 from an optical incident end 31 by having the substantially same refractive index as a core material of the optical fiber; and a protection medium 10 for deterring adhesion between the optical emission end 21 and the optical incident end 31 by being interposed between the optical emission ends 21 of the plurality of the optical fibers 2 and the optical incident end 31 of the translucent optical member 3. The light incident end face 31a of the translucent optical member 3 has the size of the light emission end face 21a or larger of the plurality of the optical fibers 2 and can attach and detach the plurality of the optical fibers 2 and the translucent optical member 3 through the protection medium 10.
