PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device for a toilet bowl drainage channel capable of surely discharging sewage from a toilet bowl to a toilet bowl drainage channel. SOLUTION: The intake device 200 for the toilet bowl drainage channel 5 comprises an intake means for sucking air from the toilet bowl drainage channel 5 connected to the lower reaches of a water sealing part 4 of a toilet bowl body 1. The intake means has a negative pressure generator 20 and a suction tank 30 and is controlled by a control means C1 capable of adjusting a unit intake quantity which is an intake quantity per unit time. The control means C1 controls so that the unit intake quantity from the start of intake by the intake means until a specific time t1 is more than the unit intake quantity after the lapse of the specific time t1.
