A plate exchange device, in which a print-lacquering plate is mounted on a plate-forme cylinder (1) in a first rotation-feed direction of the plate-forme cylinder (1). The plate exchange device (10) comprises a first feed device (11) acting on the rear face of a print-lacquering plate. The feed device (11) is driven in a second rotation-feed direction during discharge of the print-lacquering plate from the plate/forme cylinder (1).
