<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aqueous dispersion for inkjet recording having excellent balance among printing density, jetting properties and preservation stability, to provide the aqueous dispersion obtained by the method, to provide a water-based ink comprising the aqueous dispersion, and to provide a method for reducing electroconductivity of the aqueous dispersion for inkjet recording. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The method for producing the aqueous dispersion for inkjet recording reducing the electroconductivity comprises a step of bringing an aqueous dispersion of a self-dispersible type pigment into contact with an adsorbent under conditions of ≥40°C and pH≤7. (2) The aqueous dispersion is obtained by the method for production and has ≤1 mS/cm electroconductivity. (3) The water-based ink for inkjet recording comprises the aqueous dispersion. (4) The method for reducing the electroconductivity of the aqueous dispersion for inkjet recording comprises bringing the aqueous dispersion of the self-dispersible type pigment into contact with the adsorbent under the conditions of ≥40°C and pH≤7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
