<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque transmission start point learning method and a torque transmission start point learning device for an automatic clutch, capable of obtaining a vehicule traveling state reflecting driver's intention while implementing the learning operation of a torque transmission start point even during the travel of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: Before the connection operation of the automatic clutch 2 in downshift, the intention of acceleration or the intention of deceleration of a driver is confirmed. When the driver intends to accelerate, a blipping revolution number is set to be high, and when the driver intends to decelerate, the blipping revolution number is set to be low.
