<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a feeding device achieving shortening of time required until a first sheet is ejected. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a first endless belt type intermediate transfer body 105 and a second endless belt type intermediate transfer body 205; a feeding part 2 arranged at the lower part of the apparatus and feeding a recording sheet S from one end side of an apparatus body to the center part thereof, a discharge tray 1; and a sheet feed path 3 vertically running through the center part of the apparatus body, and forms an image on both sides of the recording sheet fed from the feeding part and conveyed in the sheet feed path, and discharges the recording sheet. The contact surfaces of the first and the second endless belt type intermediate transfer bodies 105 and 205 with image carriers 102 and 202 are arranged to be inclined, and the end side of the apparatus body of a first image forming part 101 is upper than the contact surface, and its height is equal to the height of the discharge tray 1.
