PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle driving force distributing device wherein an oil pump can be operated to supply hydraulic pressure to a torque distributing mechanism even when one of right and left wheels runs idle with a differential mechanism. SOLUTION: The vehicle driving force distributing device comprises the planetary gear type differential mechanism D, and the torque distributing mechanism A for distributing torque to the right and left wheels. The oil pump 67 for generating hydraulic pressure to operate clutches CL, CR of the torque distributing mechanism A is driven by transmitting the rotation of a differential case 33 of the differential mechanism D thereto via a driving gear 76 and a driven gear 75. Thus, the oil pump 67 can be operated even when one of the right and left wheels contacts a road surface having a small friction coefficient and runs idle, and the clutches CL, CR of the torque distributing mechanism A is operated without trouble to develop a torque distributing function.
