PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibration device which suppresses occurrence of void of a joining material. SOLUTION: A crystal oscillator 1 is provided with a base 3 which holds a crystal oscillation chip 2 and a lid 4 which is joined to the base 3 to hermetically seal the crystal oscillation chip 2 held by the base 3. The base 3 and the lid 4 are joined using the joining material 7. Low-melting glass in which filler components are evenly distributed to the whole is used for the joining material 7 here. In addition, a thermal expansion coefficient of the joining material 7 has a value close to or the same as those of the base 3 and the lid 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
