PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam generator to generate the laser beam with a desirable wavelength as a laser beam output by converting a wavelength of the laser beam. SOLUTION: The laser beam generator includes a laser diode 1 to generate the laser beam with a first wavelength, a wavelength conversion element onto which the laser beam with a first wavelength generated from the laser diode 1 is incoming and which converts the wavelength of the laser beam into a second wavelength of the laser beam, and a diffraction grating 2 which is provided between the laser diode 1 and the wavelength conversion element and which stabilizes the first wavelength of the laser beam incoming onto the wavelength conversion element in combined operation with the laser diode 1, wherein a non-reflective member 15 is fixed on a laser incoming surface of the diffraction grating 2.
