PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium that enables rewriting of a label side thereof and eliminates the step of taking out the medium so as to perform rewriting. SOLUTION: The recording or recording/reproduction medium includes an electrically rewritable display element, a means for receiving display data to be displayed on the display element that is transmitted from an information processing apparatus, and a means for receiving power sent by the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes a means for creating the display data to be displayed on the display element of the medium, a transmission means for transmitting the display data to the medium, and a power sending means for sending power to the medium. Further, the medium or the information processing apparatus includes a means for rewriting a content to be displayed on the display element.
