PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial eyelash used for eyelash extension treatment (or eyelash hair increasing treatment), enabling representation of a lot of eyelash hair and thick eyelash even by treatment via a small number of twists, reduction in inoperative or eyestrain feeling caused after the treatment, largely decreasing time and cost required for the treatment, enhanced even in persistence after treated, and having various designs at low production cost. SOLUTION: The artificial eyelash 10 is obtained by forming two pieces of raw threads into 'Y'-shaped curls using a curl forming tool so that the lower part of the threads are bonded and the upper side parts are separated at both ends. The artificial eyelash 10 is formed so as to maintain its persistency for a long time while one of the raw threads remains as it is even when either one of the raw threads gets off or drops out after treated.
