PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic resin composition of which surface resistivity (Ω) is stably controlled in the range of 10<SP>7</SP>to 10<SP>12</SP>. SOLUTION: The resin composition includes 10 to 50 pts.mass of carbon black that has an average particle size of 10 to 80 nm and a DBP oil absorption of 40 to 150 cm<SP>3</SP>/100 g carbon per 100 pts.mass of thermoplastic resin and gives a surface resistivity (Ω) of 10<SP>7</SP>to 10<SP>12</SP>. Preferably, the resin composition includes 30 to 41 pts.mass of carbon black that has an average particle size of 47 nm and a DBP oil absorption of 66 cm<SP>3</SP>/100 g carbon per 100 pts.mass of thermoplastic resin. More preferably, the resin composition includes 10 to 50 pts.mass of carbon black that has an average particle size of 76 nm and a DBP oil absorption of 69 cm<SP>3</SP>/100 g of carbon black.
