Said cable routing device comprises a housing (2) that is provided with a slidable opening (10) extending in the longitudinal direction (6) and an outlet (12). A sliding element (28), to which a cable (26) and a U-shaped spring band (30) are fastened, is slidingly mounted within the slidable opening (10). The cable (26) is guided to the outlet (12) along the spring band (30), while the end of the spring band (30) that faces away from the sliding element (28) is mounted on the housing.
