<p>Disclosed are: a pigment composition or dispersion which can be suitably used for the production of a blue pixel part of a color filter for a liquid crystal display device; and a color filter. Specifically disclosed are: a color filter equipped with a blue pixel part which enables to provide a liquid crystal display device having a higher-contrast and higher-brightness display screen; and a pigment composition or dispersion which can provide the color filter. The pigment composition or dispersion for a color filter comprises: a copper phthalocyanine sulfamoyl compound which has a specific polyalkyleneoxide group and is substituted by a sulfamoyl group; and a blue organic pigment. The pigment composition or dispersion enables to provide a color filter equipped with a blue pixel part which can provide a liquid crystal display device having a high contrast and a high brightness.</p>
