A method for chucking and dechucking fluorescent lamps is provided to enable workers to determine precise chucking by performing repetitive chucking when a glass tube is fixed at a fixing chuck. A glass tube is inserted(S100). Water leakage is repeatedly checked between the glass tube and a fixing chuck(S110). It is determined whether the process is stopped by using the checked result(S120). At this time, the determination is performed three times. It is determined whether the process is individually processed according to respective checked result. When the stop of the process is required, a gas supply line is automatically blocked by a stop signal and then the glass tube is removed.
