<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device increasing supply capacity of fuel whilereducing load fluctuation of a diesel engine. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply device is provided with a common rail 20 accumulating highpressure fuel supplied to the diesel engine 15, and two high pressure pumps 11, 12 supplying fuel to the common rail 20. A drive shaft 30 of the high pressure pump 11 is connected to an output shaft 16 of the diesel engine 15 via power transmission parts 13, 14. A drive shaft 45 of the high pressure pump 12 is connected to the output shaft 16 via the power transmission parts 13, 17. The high pressure pump 11 includes pressure feeding parts 11a, 11b, and the high pressure pump 12 includes pressure feeding parts 12a, 12b. Pressure feed timing of fuel by the high pressure pump 11 is set to a vicinity of compression top dead center of the diesel engine 15, and pressure feed timing of fuel by the high pressure pump 12 is set between pressure feed timings of fuel by the high pressure pump 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
