<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture by a simple method a guide wire excelling in operability and kink resistance by making gradually changeable the rigidity of wire connection parts of the guide wire formed by connecting wires of different rigidity. <P>SOLUTION: The guide wire 1 is formed by connecting a first wire A and a second wire B higher in rigidity than the first wire A, by a tubular connecting member 12. The connection end face of the first wire A and that of the second wire B incline at a predetermined angle θ to a plane with the axes of both wires as a normal line. The first wire A and the second wire B are thrusted into the connecting member 12 respectively from the opposite sides to bring the connection end faces into contact with each other, and then this part is pressed from the outside of the connection member 12 to connect the first wire A and the second wire B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
