<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and image processing system capable of more surely notifying a user who has instructed processing, about a left recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing system comprises an image processing apparatus 1, an administrative server 22 and a PC terminal 26. The administrative server 22 comprises an image table 23 storing image information 24 of image data and user information 25 of a user who has instructed output, in association with each other. When outputting input image data, a device control section 8 of the image processing apparatus 1 creates the image information 24 and the user information 25 instructing the output from the image data and stores the created information in the image table 23 of the administrative server 22. An image is read from a recording sheet left at an ejection part 11 and collated to judge presence/absence of matched image information 24 in the image table 23.
